Connecting with JML @ Taipa Area School.

Tena Koutou Taipa Area School and Welcome to Room 3 class blog.  We are a school from Auckland in the Eastern suburbs called Glen Innes and our school is called Point England School.  We have about 640 ish students at our school.  Team 5 is our year 7 and 8 team that have a lot of opportunities and responsibilities within our school. We are a group of about 160 ish students that enjoy being our age and helping either our brothers or sisters during difficult times.

Smart Relationships.

Mrs Collins come into our space today to deliver What Smart Relationships are.  Here are some of the things our class come up with. We also watched a video which told us to Think about what we are doing, Feel about what we are doing online, Balance our time on screen, Listen to what you have been told about cyber smart and Stand up or make a Stand if something happened or happening.  So that is what you need to do if you come across any type of cyber bullying. Thank you to Mrs Collins for coming into Room 3 and helping us.

Participating in Swimming

This term our team have been going swimming and we are learning to swim 25 meter bilateral.  Room 3 have been doing great with participation in swimming which is amazing to see.  We have students swimming in two different groups and all students in each group are capable in swimming the length of the pool. I have been taking photos of Room 3 students doing their swimming lessons.  I am so happy that i can showcase the efforts our class have done during our swimming.
